This mantra is a teacher–student invocation, recited before study or learning. to working is to learning.
“Saha nāvavatu” – mutual protection and well-being.
“Saha vīryam karavāvahai” – shared strength in action.
“Mā vidviṣāvahai” – removal of ego, envy, and conflict.
The triple “Shantiḥ” invokes peace in body, mind, and environment.
